Not one tear you have ever shed has fallen to the ground. They have all been seen by the Savior and at the right time, when it was best for you, He brought relief. So it will ever be!

But no human being can wear the yoke of submission and obedience who does not learn daily in the school of Christ. . . . The true Christian keeps his eyes fixed on Him who searches the heart and tries the reins, who requires truth in the inward parts. He has demonstrated that a lifelong obedience is possible. Thus He gives men to the world, as the Father gave the Son, to exemplify in their life the life of Jesus Christ. . . . "Christians are Christ's jewels. They are to shine brightly for Him, shedding forth the light of His loveliness. Their luster depends on the polishing they receive. They may choose to be polished or to remain unpolished. But everyone who is pronounced worthy of a place in the Lord's temple must submit to the polishing process. Without the polishing that the Lord gives, they can reflect no more light than a common pebble. Christ says to man, You are mine. I have bought you. You are now only a rough stone; but if you will place yourself in My hands, I will polish you, and the luster with which you shall shine will bring honor to My name. No man shall pluck you out of My hand. I will make you My peculiar treasure. On My coronation day, you will be a jewel in My crown of rejoicing. "The Divine Worker spends little time on worthless material. Only the precious jewels does He polish after the similitude of a palace, cutting away all rough edges. This process is severe and trying; it hurts human pride. Christ cuts deep into the experience that man in his self-sufficiency has regarded as complete and takes away self-uplifting from the character. He cuts away the surplus surface, and putting the stone to the polishing wheel, presses it close, that all roughness may be worn away. Then, holding the jewel up to the light, the Master sees in it a reflection of Himself, and He pronounces it worthy of a place in His casket. Blessed be the experience, however severe, that gives new value to the stone." In Heavenly Places, p. 267.

How many times has Christ revealed Himself to us and turned our sorrow into joy. We may trust Him in the storm as well as the sunshine." Christ Triumphant, p. 242.

Jesus speaketh: Follow me! I came down and died for thee; I am risen from the grave, I am near, and strong to save.
Jesus speaketh: Follow me! I have happy news for thee,— He that on my name believes, Everlasting life receives.
Jesus speaketh: Follow me! Sinful though thy heart may be, I will cleanse and heal thy soul; I am come to make thee whole.
Jesus speaketh: Follow me! I have lasting joys for thee,— Joys that never can decay, Riches none can take away.
Draw us, Lord and we will go. Follow thee while here below; trust thy mercy, trust thy grace, Till we see thee face to face.
I'm a writer, translator, craftster and artist. A bookworm, a vegan food and crafts blogger, pet lover and gardener, not in that
order and not at the same time, although sometimes, it might seem that way. I'm an enthusiast of almost everything handmade. I can do many crafts, but would still like to
learn many more. I love to do things for children's charities and to look at a gorgeous sunset. At home we have 2 dogs and a cat.
All of our pets have been rescued from the Pound. I am an avid crocheter since childhood and can design my own patterns which I really enjoy.
